The Sunshine Coast Transit System extends from Langdale to Halfmoon Bay. The main route operates from Sechelt via Roberts Creek and Gibsons to the Langdale Ferry using accessible buses with wheelchair ramps. This service is augmented by local routes that operate to Halfmoon Bay, the Sechelt Arena and West Sechelt.

In addition to the conventional transit service, the Sunshine Coast Regional District also operates the handyDART service for people with disabilities. This is a door-to-door service for the use of people whose mobility is limited such that they cannot use the conventional transit service.

When using public transit, please have exact change or ticket fare ready, as drivers do not carry change. As of April 2010, fares are $2.25 for adults and $1.75 for seniors and students. Children under 5 ride free.
