The Sunshine Coast has an active volunteer community and many effective non-profit organizations. Located in the Seaside Centre, alongside the Sechelt Visitor Centre, the Sunshine Coast Volunteer Centre keeps an up-to-date directory of community, non profit and volunteer services on the Sunshine Coast, and has served the community since 1979.
